Married to the Mob serves up vocal and unapologetically feminine styles as part of their much-anticipated collaboration with American heritage brand K-Swiss. The collaboration will include a revamp of the iconic Aero Trainer as well as boldly feminine athleisure looks. With Leah McSweeney at the helm, this trailblazing streetwear brand has been giving women a voice and personality in a predominately male-dominated industry. This collaboration will prove to be an extension of MOB’s mission as McSweeney continues to set an example for females as the true embodiment of hustle. Her edgy wit and cultural fluency have gained MOB a fiercely loyal following and those two acumen’s will continue to take center stage for this project.
The K-Swiss x MTTM limited edition Aero Trainer T bridges fashion, sport and MOB’s signature feminine-street style. The entrepreneur has revamped the Aero Trainer with a pink camo print and a ballistic nylon upper in soft pink. It sits atop a semi-translucent rubber cupsole with K-Swiss’ iconic 5 Stripes sculpted into the design. The shoe will retail for $65.00 and will include one-of-a-kind details like Leah’s inspirational and irreverent #B*tchisms.
The campaign for this collaboration was shot with female rapper Leikeli47 and will debut a week prior to Complexcon in Long Beach, CA. K-Swiss will host various activations at their convention space including an appearance by both Leah McSweeney and Laura Stylez where the female duo will host their acclaimed podcast, Improper Etiquette. They will be bringing their work to life through a video take on this fan-favorite podcast, which will display at the K-Swiss booth.
The K-Swiss x MTTM Aero Trainer T and special MOB apparel capsule collection will release on November 4 at ComplexCon in Long Beach with availability following exclusively at Zumiez thereafter.
