New Balance x NYC Marathon Murals | “All Roads Lead to NYC”

To celebrate their first year sponsoring the NYC Marathon, New Balance has created a campaign centered on the idea that “All Roads Lead to NYC.” Part of the launch is a brand-new art project they commissioned featuring five large murals by five renowned artists in the five boroughs of NYC.

“All Roads Lead to NYC” stems from the idea that participants are drawn from all corners of the world to cross the same finish line in NYC. The murals celebrate NYC as the epicenter of both the marathon and so many people’s journeys. Each unique mural is inspired by the NYC Marathon logo and depicts the story of each artist’s road to the city.
Not only will the murals be up for NYC to enjoy, but the finished images will be sold on t-shirts at the Marathon expo.
