Packer x Asics x Mitchell & Ness“Game. Set. Match.” Collection

With one of the great annual American sporting events about to hit New York later this month, Packer Shoes joins forces with ASICS and Mitchell & Ness for a new limited-edition collection of tennis-inspired sneakers, apparel and accessories that celebrates each brand’s rich legacy on and off the court and runs the gamut from past to present, lifestyle to performance.

As one of the premier footwear retailers in the U.S. for over a century, Packer has long been known as a champion of athletic shoes and apparel and has demonstrated a true reverence and authenticity when it comes to the world of sports and the lifestyle that surrounds it.

Launching in conjunction with New York’s premier tennis tournament, this limited edition collection includes vintage tennis-inspired apparel pieces such as the Mitchell & Ness Arthur Ashe Track Jacket, court-ready polos and shorts, tees, pullovers, windbreakers and more.

The footwear portion of the collection spans several generations of ASICS and Onitsuka Tiger silhouettes spread across three product categories. The Onitsuka Tiger brand’s longstanding tennis roots are represented by the Lawnship® and GSM TM models, while the ASICS Tiger TM  brand favorites like the GEL-Lyte® III and GEL-Sight TM models seamlessly bridge the gap to the off-court tennis culture aesthetic that has been a timeless sportswear staple for decades. Looking to the present, the wildly popular GEL-Resolution® 6 performance model gets reimagined with a lifestyle twist punctuated by a mismatched colorway.

The limited edition collection will be released through a special pop-up activation space in the heart of NYC at Grand Central Station’s Vanderbilt Hall from Tuesday, August 30 to Thursday, September 1.

The Mitchell & Ness apparel ranges from $30-$150 from headwear to jackets and everything in between.

The ASICS/Onitsuka Tiger footwear ranges from $100-$160 across the five silhouettes.
