Friday’s skateboarding event featured Converse Skate Ambassadors Eli Reed, Kenny Anderson, Nick Trapasso, Raymond Molinar, Rune Gilfberg and Tom Remillard.
Saturday’s music event included musical performances by The Kills, Black Bananas and Converse Rubber Tracks recording artist Viva Viva. In attendance were director Banks Griffin, DJ Chrissy Miller, model Jessica Stam, Nur Khan of Kenmare, designer Pamela Love, model Salieu Jalloh, Simonez Wolf of Chef Sez and model Wendell Lissimore.
CONVERSE presented CITY Carnage: NYC, a summertime free event celebrating music and skateboarding. The two-day event kicked off Friday afternoon with the ‘Best Trick Carnage’ hosted by Converse Skateboarding Ambassadors. Local NYC skaters received prizes for the best tricks on obstacles around the park and best tricks in the bowl at the Pier 62 Skate Park at Chelsea Waterside Park.
The celebration continued with a free concert on Saturday evening featuring opening acts Black Bananas and Converse Rubber Tracks recording artist Viva Viva, while The Kills capped the 2-day event with a stellar one-hour performance.
