This past weekend Converse hosted a Converse Block Party at Banneker Community Center in Washington D.C. to celebrate local street culture, basketball, music, and art in conjunction with the launch of the newest Converse Pro Leather during the World Basketball Festival 2012. Community members were invited to participate in pickup basketball games, t-shirt customization, food from local vendors, and enjoy live music performances from Converse Rubber Tracks Tanya Morgan and Fresh Daily and rapper Stalley and R&B singer The-Dream.
