The original Ronnie Fieg x ASICS “Super Red” Gel Lyte III came out around two years ago with 252 pairs in total, since then the idea of producing a 2.0 version was tossed around. Fieg grabbed cues from the first shoe and introduces a full upgraded version with the new Super Red 2.0. The re-worked version includes a GT-II silhouette this time around with throwback features like a smooth full pigskin upper, grey accents, gel cushioning and two-tone outsole represented with quality materials.
The shoes come in extremely limited numbers and will release starting Friday, April 27th at 11am EST at Kith Manhattan, Kith Brooklyn and online at KithNYC.com. Pictures by Pete Forester & Adam Zenou.
The Model Casey Diego, is a Long Island native boasting heritage from Puerto Rico, Uruguay, and Spain. A fan of Ronnie’s since 2008, Casey works in fashion, a natural fit, as she studies to be a Psychotherapist – her killer eyes masking a passion for service to her community.
